Cirsti-Lee Boast
We are delighted to welcome Cirsti-Lee Boast to our team, where she will be leading Physical Science and Agricultural Science from 2026.
Cirsti brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our school, having worked as a research technician and completed both her BSc Honours and Master’s degrees in Microbiology and Genetics.
She has previously taught at Weston and brings with her the passion and experience needed to help our learners thrive and to continue growing our Science offering in meaningful ways.
Jess Beddingfield
We are excited to welcome Jess Beddingfield to the Carlyle team, where she will be leading our Visual Art and Music departments.
Jess brings a wealth of real-world experience — from setting up and coordinating art events and exhibitions in Clarens to performing as a singer on stage.
Having taught at various schools and contributed to photography, eco-schools, music and art programmes, she brings with her a wonderful mix of creativity, energy, and experience that will enrich our learners’ artistic journey.
Jess will also be teaching extra music lessons and helping to grow our afternoon cultural offering, adding even more vibrancy to life at Carlyle.
Andiswa Cele
We are pleased to welcome Andiswa Cele to the Carlyle team.
She joins us from Treverton, where she taught in the high school isiZulu department.
Her love of music and culture will ensure that our learners continue to receive a well-rounded and engaging introduction to the language, while also preparing them meaningfully for their FET journey.
In addition, her studies in Business will strengthen our EMS offering, and her enthusiasm on the sports field will be a valued addition to our team.
Cara Kruger
Cara Kruger will be joining the team from Waterfall College.
She will be teaching our FET Afrikaans, as well as some English and the Drama component of Creative Arts.
Cara’s enthusiasm for her subjects is infectious, and her excitement to be part of the school community and help grow the afternoon cultural offering will inspire our learners, spark their creativity, and encourage them to explore new talents and interests.
She brings valuable real-world experience, having acted on stage and in TV productions, and is currently completing her Honours in Inclusive Education, further strengthening her ability to support and engage all learners.
